You will find useful materials for visiting the museum at the information desk beneath the Pyramid: museum maps and practical information, weekly schedule of room closures, themed visits for children and/or adults.

During your visit
Assistance
Museum staff in the Assistance area can help you plan a route for your visit. Folding stools, wheelchairs, canes, multifunctional rolling chairs, sensory bags and other accessibility equipment are available, free of charge in exchange for a piece of ID, to support your visit.

Lockers
For your comfort, lockers are available beneath the Pyramid to leave your personal belongings in a secured place. Items placed in the lockers must be removed the same day. Visitors are responsible for any valuables left in the lockers.
Please note: any items exceeding 55 x 35 x 20 cm are not permitted in the museum

Visitor comfort
As visiting the museum can be tiring, we make multifunctional rolling chairs freely available for your use in the museum galleries. You can use them for sitting, leaning on, carrying children or transporting your belongings.
Contact us via this form before your visit for more information.
Recommended visitor trails
Aiming to provide access to all visitors, the Musée du Louvre allows you to explore its collections in the best possible conditions. Mindful of foot traffic during periods of average attendance, these maps offer the optimal visiting experience.
